Discord Server Rules – RustyBucket

Welcome to the RustyBucket Discord server. By joining and participating in this server, you agree to follow these rules. Failure to comply may result in warnings, mutes, kicks, bans, or other moderation actions.

1. Be Respectful

Treat all members with respect.

The following are not allowed:

  • Harassment or bullying
  • Personal attacks
  • Hate speech
  • Discrimination based on race, nationality, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation
  • Excessive toxicity or targeted abuse

2. No NSFW Content

Do not post or share:

  • Pornographic content
  • Sexually explicit material
  • Graphic violence
  • Shock content

Content must remain appropriate for a gaming community.

3. No Spam

Spamming is prohibited, including:

  • Repeated messages
  • Excessive emojis
  • Excessive mentions or pings
  • Flooding channels
  • Nonsense or disruptive messages

4. Use Channels Correctly

Keep discussions relevant to their designated channels.

Do not intentionally derail conversations or misuse support channels.

5. No Advertising

Do not advertise or promote:

  • Other Discord servers
  • Websites
  • Products or services
  • Social media accounts
  • Competing game servers

Unless you have prior approval from staff.

6. No Cheats, Exploits, or Illegal Content

Do not:

  • Share cheats, hacks, scripts, or exploits
  • Discuss methods for bypassing game security
  • Share pirated software
  • Promote illegal activities

7. Respect Staff Decisions

Moderators and administrators are responsible for maintaining the community.

If you disagree with a moderation decision:

  • Contact staff privately.
  • Remain respectful.
  • Do not argue publicly in chat.

8. Usernames and Avatars

Usernames, nicknames, profiles, and avatars must not contain:

  • Offensive content
  • Hate symbols
  • Impersonation of staff
  • Misleading or disruptive content

Staff may require changes where necessary.

9. Protect Your Privacy

Do not share:

  • Personal addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Passwords
  • Financial information
  • Other sensitive information

Protect your own privacy and respect the privacy of others.

10. English Language Policy (Optional)

To help moderation and community engagement, English may be required in public channels unless otherwise specified.

11. Rust Server Rules Apply

Where applicable, Rust game server rules also apply within Discord.

12. Staff Discretion

Not every possible rule violation can be listed.

Staff may take action against behavior deemed harmful to the community, even if not specifically covered by these rules.

Penalties

Violations may result in:

  • Warning
  • Temporary mute
  • Temporary ban
  • Permanent ban

The severity of the action depends on the nature and frequency of the violation.
